Jacobus le Roux earned himself the title of Supreme Champion by winning all three Mpumalanga Cue Sport championships hosted in Secunda.
Jacobus le Roux earned himself the title of supreme champion by winning all three Mpumalanga Cue Sport championships hosted in Secunda over the weekend.
Altogether 33 cue sport players in the province competed for the 2017/18 championship titles in the 8 Ball Championship on Friday, the 9 Ball Championship on Saturday and the 10 Ball Championship on Sunday.
Le Roux won his second MPCS 9 ball title, as well as the 8 Ball and 10 Ball competitions.
Kyle Jonker was considered a worthy adversary for being runner-up in each of the competitions over the weekend, while Hendry Erasmus kept a consistent fourth place.
Le Roux, Jonker and Erasmus are all members of the Pandas Cue Sport @ Upstairs in Secunda.
Charles Walhstrand from Full Moon in Ermelo came third in the 8 Ball Championship, Shane Nolan from Gringos in Hendrina was third in the 9 Ball competition and Timmy Vermeulen from Panda’s came third in the 10 Ball contest.
The top women performers in the three competitions, were Sylvia Pieterse on six points, Veronica Wahlstrand on four points and Anne-Marie Wilson on two points.
