Top SA bands to perform at Lake Umuzi’s Misty Waters Music Festival
This year's theme is 'Plunge into the gutbucket' and will take you on a journey through the psychedelia of the humble beginnings of rock music.
SECUNDA – The annual Misty Waters Music Festival will be bringing some of South Africa’s top blues, rock and folk bands to Secunda from 10 to 12 May.
This three-day event takes place at Lake Umuzi’s Kamp Oase.
This year’s theme is ‘Plunge into the gutbucket‘ and will take you on a journey through the psychedelia of the humble beginnings of rock music.
Inspired by the works of the legendary rock band, The Doors, Misty Waters will take you to a genus loci where you can plunge into the gutbucket of real South African music.
The festival will feature 26 of the best blues, rock, folk and Indie bands in the country.
The line-up includes Spoegwolf, Fokofpolisiekar, Albert Frost and Tubatsi Moloi of Urban Village, Wolfgang Marrow, Monkeys in Boots, Don’t Poke the Bear, Sean Koch, Tidal Waves, Zebra, The Black Cat Bones, Hellcats, Deon Bakkes and the Stolen Horses, Jerry and the Bandits, Adelle Nqeto, ShutUp! It’s Sunday, Raygun Royale, Kings of Improg, Emile Swiegers, Black Water, FLØRIS, Basson Laubscher & the Violent Free Peace, Straatligkinders, Earl Grey & Croquet, The Lebowski, Saarkie, Warongx and Taxi Violence.
