Football school from Leandra claims double victory in Johannesburg

The U14 and U19 teams produced impressive performances to record victories over Olympiacos Greek Academy.

I-Promise Football School’s U14 and U19 teams returned home with victories after impressive performances against Olympiacos Greek Academy at the Greek Sports Club in Linksfield, Johannesburg, on June 28.

The teams travelled to Johannesburg to take on Olympiacos Greek Academy in two competitive fixtures.

The U14 side secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory, with Makhelele scoring both goals to lead I-Promise Football School to the win.

The U19 team also delivered a strong performance, defeating Olympiacos Greek Academy 2-0. Manqoba opened the scoring before Aguero added a second goal to seal the victory.

The successful outing showcased the talent and determination of the young players as both teams maintained their winning form against quality opposition.
