With bags of treats, toys and blankets, pupils from the Eagle House Primary School paid the furry ones at the Roodepoort SPCA a visit. The project was initiated by the pupils after they heard of the horrific reports of animal cruelty in the area.
Theo Mahube, who was the guide during the trip said every drop off and donation is always appreciated. Volunteers are always welcome during the weekends but he said the pupils would have to be 16 years or older.
From the dog kennels to the kitties, little paws, whiskers and energetic barks melted all the pupils’ hearts during the tour.
