The Roodepoort licensing station at the corner of Berlandina and Dieperink Streets will be closed for four months as of 11 May, according to JMPD spokesperson Wayne Minnaar.
Minnaar says this is due to heavy construction that will take place. One office will be open though to serve pensioners renewing their drivers and vehicle licenses.
He advised residents to make use of the licensing station in Westlake Avenue, Florida, as well as those in Randburg, Langlaagte and Sandton.
