Almost a month later they still have very few answers. This morning (22 September) the De Silvers once again met with Florida Police to enquire whether any headway has been made. This time they were attended to by station commander Charlie Chowles. They received the same answer though – the police are still waiting for the post-mortem reports and the scene photos. The driver of the VW Kombi that crashed into the vehicle in which the teenagers were passengers, is allegedly still in hospital.

Chowles did make a commitment to the families though that he will keep them updated as he receives any new information.
Meanwhile the families are planning a protest when the court case commences.
