Warning: Allegedly unstable troublemaker on Progress Road at it again

No one has yet laid charges against her.

The now infamous female beggar who can regularly be found at the intersection of Progress and Prosperity Roads in Grobler Park, was at it again on Monday, 15 October.

The Witpoortjie Warnings Whatsapp group has issued a warning saying two incidents were reported. She has again, as has been reported in the past, damaged two vehicles.

She is also known to insult and cuss at motorists passing by and in one incident in the past, threw a brick through the Caxton bakkie’s window. In the Caxton case, a charge was laid and recently it was said that she had been arrested, but it is unclear why she keeps on returning. Another favourite tactic of hers when motorists do not oblige to her demands is to break off their side mirrors.

Motorists are advised to be cautious at this traffic light or alternatively make use of South Road which runs parallel to Progress Avenue and also connects with Corlett Avenue.

The woman has continued with her shenanigans regardless of being confronted with, among others, the neighbourhood watch. One motorist even claimed that he pepper sprayed her but this did not seem to deter her.
