The Jhb Mozart Choir set to wow audiences

It will be their biggest production to date

The JHB WA Mozart Choir and orchestra are inviting those who enjoy classical music to join them for their biggest production yet.

The performance will be taking place on 12 May at 3pm in the Linder Auditorium, 27 St Andrews Road, Parktown.

The audience can look forward to performances by the Colla Voce (South Gauteng Youth Choir), Hanli Stapela, Aukse Trinkunate, Neil Stander and Dirk Venter.

The classical works that will be performed include Mozart’s Mass in C (KV337), Beethoven’s Welten Singen aus Christus om Ölberge (Mount of Olives), Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture with full symphony orchestra.

This will be a once-off performance, and, even though the auditorium seats just more than 1 000 people, those who are interested are urged to get their tickets as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment.

Tickets cost R250 per person and are available from Quicket or choir members.

For more information, as well as ticket bookings, contact Karin Spottiswoode on 072 595 6991 or send an email to info@jhbwam.org.za.
