Staff and learners at The King’s School West Rand braved the cold water and participated in the inaugural Polar Bear Swim on Friday, 14 June.

This activity, which was an addition to the school’s activity calendar, was valiantly led by deputy principal, Sean Muddiman. The event saw some teachers taking a dip in polar bear costumes and masks, and resulted in much hilarity from the learners.

The school also applauded the learners who donated blankets to the school’s blanket drive.
