Double trouble at Laerskool Helderkruin

There must be something in the water at Laerskool Helderkruin, because four sets of twins walked through the doors on the first day

The first day of school is always a crazy one. Parents and learners from all Grades rush to make sure they aren’t late, and the past festive season has restored everyone’s energy. The hustle and bustle can be daunting for the babies of the school, which is why the Grade 1s of Laerskool Helderkruin came into school one day earlier than everyone else.

The young learners arrived at the school bright and early on Tuesday, 14 January. The excited children met their new teachers and potential friends with such excitement before they spent the day learning their school and classroom rules, exploring their new school, and getting comfortable in new territory.

There must be something in the water at that school, because four sets of twins walked through the doors on the first day. Teachers were grateful, however, that not all of them were identical, so remembering who they were would be a lot easier.

The learners familiarised themselves with their new school, and came back the next day joined by the Grade 2 to 7 learners of the school.
