The learners of Mellow Oaks Academy in Ruimsig recently opened their hearts to the furry friends at the Randburg SPCA.
The pet-loving learners brought a variety pet food, litter boxes, blankets and cleaning products to donate to the animal shelter.
Following the collection drive on 23 July, the school principal, Mr Skip Viljoen, delivered the donations to Ms Lyndall of the Randburg SPCA, who welcomed them with immense gratitude.
“Offering a helping hand to those in need is an important life lesson to teach our children. The joy they get from doing their part is a wonderful thing to see,” Viljoen reflected on the worthy project.
