Sirens and emergency flashing lights usually evoke a feeling of anxiety when you’ve passed your teens, but for little ones, it’s always a rush of joy when they set their eyes on them.
The joy was out of this world for some little ones from a daycare in Newlands on Thursday, 22 October.
Absolut Security and ER24 teamed up to host a career day at Edly daycare where learners got to ‘experience’ being on the frontline.
“ER24 and Absolut spoke to the children and taught them about safety, and to phone ER24 for any medical emergency,” Elmien Parker from Absolut Security highlighted.
Marga Scheepers from ER24 made things more interesting by demonstrating how a patient is transported from a scene after being treated.
