The principal of the school, Mr André Berrangé, cited the importance of electing student leaders.

Following an absolutely challenging year, The King’s School Discovery (TKSD) still managed to elect its prefects for the remainder of the year and next year.
The 2020/ 2021 prefects were inaugurated on 4 November.

The principal of the school, Mr André Berrangé, cited the importance of electing student leaders.

“The new prefect body is one with great enthusiasm and wonderful potential. It is always a very proud moment for any Principal to see the friends and family excited for the newly elected leaders of the school,” he said.

The main leaders (head boy and girl, and the deputy) had a few words to share after the inauguration.

The head boy, Vuyo Fokazi, said, “I am grateful to all of the staff who continually support me throughout my schooling career. I am excited to lead the learners in the school – I have always been game for a good challenge,” Vuyo said.
