Wonderland of Lights at the Garden

The event is for the whole family to gather and unwind in the beautiful setting of the garden with its ample space.

The impressive display of lights hosted by Event Ladies SA and Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden (WSNBG) will make another appearance this year under the name Wonderland of Lights from Friday, 4 December at 5pm.

According to Event Ladies SA, the magical, mesmerising display of lights will be bigger, better and further past the restaurant this year, with many features and lights on display.

The event is for the whole family to gather and unwind in the beautiful setting of the garden with its ample space.

This is a family-orientated event, therefore no cooler box will be allowed and no alcohol will be sold inside.

Online ticket holders will have a separate entrance and may enter the Garden from 4pm onwards, while the cash office will be open at the entrance from 4pm until 10pm.

The lights display will run from 6pm to 10pm and a limited number of tickets will be sold per night as they will adhere to strict Covid-19 regulations.

“We will have a designated Covid-19 officer on duty while you enjoy our display with more than 100 imported lights and listening to Christmas Carols in the background to create just that festive and relaxed vibe we all so desperately need after this challenging year.

“We will have enough vendors to cater for your Christmas shopping, quench your thirst, and entertain the kids. There’s definitely something for everyone,” said Event Ladies SA Managing Director, Michelle van Zyl.
