Selfless Thabo Pororo, who made headlines for fixing potholes out of his own pocket, has now earned a real job worth his time.
After appealing for a paying job and sharing his expertise, community members with vacancies called up Pororo to fill the vacant spots.
His advocate, Lucia Pereira, told the Northsider that the famous pothole fixer will be working for different employers on different days of the week to earn an income. She said that a resident, Tanya Becker was the first to book him as a gardener. After doing a sterling job, she said he was booked again to do tiling, and on top of his pay, he was also given food.

Lucia explained that her complex hired Pororo on tentative Monday and Tuesday slots, provided that he submits a copy of his ID copy and proof of banking details.
She concluded by thanking the Northsider for showing interest in Pororo’s pro-activeness which highlighted his need for a proper job.
