The King’s School West Rand (TKSWR) recently allowed the imagination of their Grade 2 learners to run wild when they hosted a picnic/ tea party.
The learners had the privilege of preparing the event themselves – from organising the menu, decor to the outfits, which created the most memorable moments for the children.

Having done a film study on Alice in Wonderland (the original movie in English), a 2010 American live-action or animated dark fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton from a screenplay written by Linda Woolverton, the learners were chuffed to dress up as their favourite characters.
Besides the delicious treats, the learners had loads of fun in the school’s garden where the event was held and the costumes showcased.
