Crawford International Ruimsig Class of 2020 celebrates 100 per cent pass rate

“Always do something today that you will be proud of tomorrow. To the class of 2020, we are so proud of you,” said Acting Principal, Christine Herbst.

Despite a challenging year, Crawford International Ruimsig Class of 2020 proved that if you put your mind to it, you are able to achieve anything.

The school based in Ruimsig achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) National Senior Certificate exams and is proud to have produced the top-achieving student among the Crawford International group of schools.

A total of 88 per cent of the class secured a Bachelor’s degree pass, and 12 per cent secured access to diploma studies.

On Friday, 19 February learners collected their results in a drive-through format, and then left shortly thereafter. It was streamed on the school’s Facebook page.

Managing Director, Dr Siza Majola and Academics Head, Traci Salter-Willis together with the Crawford International community applauded the class of 2020 for excelling in their matric examinations.

“As we celebrate the results of our students, we salute each one of them for achieving their personal best in the long and hard-working journey towards their matric.

“We would especially like to celebrate Inge Odendaal who achieved 10 IEB distinctions and had an overall average of 95,3 per cent, and was placed in the Top 1 per cent nationally in the IEB Examinations for Accounting, Afrikaans, English, Life Orientation, Life Sciences, Mathematics and Tourism.
