A united and caring community is mostly characterised by individuals who go out of their way and utilise their own resources to become part of the solution.
On Saturday 24 April, Honeydew Police Reservists and the Honeydew Community Policing Forum (CPF) enjoyed the day with the residents of Eagle Canyon Golf Estate and also had the opportunity to view interactive displays.

According to Honeydew CPF deputy chairperson, Jon Rosenberg, the reservists were invited to the event at Eagle Canyon Golf Estate for the residents to meet various responders.
The Fire Department and security companies were also present, and the many children were entertained by the fire displays on show.

“It is always a good day working with our police reservists. Thank you to you guys and my team for a great day. This was their first attempt and I think it went relatively well as people were very interested in knowing what the CPF is about, and the residents also had an opportunity to chat to the reservists,” said Jon.
