Crawford builds a better community through blanket drive

According to the school, should they win the R5 000 from BMW West Rand, they will donate all their winnings to a deserving charity.

On Friday, 21 May Crawford International Ruimsig in partnership with The 4change Foundation dropped off blankets at BMW West Rand with hopes of being the school that had donated the most blankets in the District.

The aim of the blanket drive was for the school to work together with the community and bring in as many blankets and quilts as they could.

According to the school, should they win the R5 000 from BMW West Rand, they will donate all their winnings to a deserving charity.

“With winter fast approaching we as the Crawford International Ruimsig family have decided to rally together and give the gift of warmth to those in need.

“We can never thank you enough for rallying together with our #futurchangemakers and spreading some kindness and warmth in our community.

“Thank you for making our blanket drive successful and for sharing the gift of warmth,” said Crawford International Ruimsig Head of Marketing and Admissions, Tshepiso Makhalemele.

BMW West Rand thanked Crawford International Ruimsig for their generous donation towards the blanket drive, and revealed that all the blankets will be distributed to communities in and around Gauteng.

Members of the public who would like to partner with The 4change Foundation are advised to visit www.4change.co.za.
