Featherbrooke Estate strikes gold

Featherbrooke was especially praised for its use of indigenous planting, which is strongly advocated in the estate.

Featherbrooke Estate, together with their gardening subcontractor, FSG, proudly received the prestigious annual accolade of a Gold Award of Excellence for landscape and turf maintenance recently.

Featherbrooke Estate Parks fall under the leadership and the reliable hands of Parks director Leon Meintjies.

The judging was preceded by a site visit from the South African Landscapers Institute (SALI) judges who inspected all aspects of the relevant landscaped areas according to specific criteria.

A series of professional photographs depicting relevant areas was submitted along with a write-up of the processes followed to ensure efficient landscape maintenance of the picturesque parklands.

According to Meintjies, Featherbrooke was especially praised for its use of indigenous planting, which is strongly advocated in the estate.
