The number of possible chess games with unique moves that can be played is mathematically infinite, and this allows and requires players to constantly innovate in order to have an edge over their opponent.
Crawford International Ruimsig learner, Kerri-Ann Naicker is a master of the game and proved to have a good understanding of the paradoxical nature of the game.
Kerri-Ann recently achieved an amazing qualification for the South African Junior Chess Closed Championships (SAJCCC) in the U/18 girls section during this difficult time.
Through her second to none tournament performances, she has now qualified for the South African team.
Kerri-Ann advanced straight through to stage 2, which took place on July 11 and 12. She played online within the safety of her home and managed to make it through to the knock-out stage to take place next week.
Crawford International Ruimsig posted on their Facebook page how incredibly proud they are of their #CrawfordMasterpiece and Kerri-Ann’s awesome achievements in South African Chess.
