It is important to remain informed of how and where to get vaccinated in your area.
In light of the increasing Covid-19 infections, the country was moved to adjusted level 3 from July, 26. With various testing stations and vaccination sites operational throughout the country, it is important to remain informed of how and where to get vaccinated in your area.
The vaccinations sites for Sub-District C will be open from Mondays to Fridays, 08:00 to 16:00.
These vaccination sites are located here:
• Roodepoort Town Hall (7 Rex Street, Roodepoort)
• Fleurhof Recreational Centre (corner of Malacite and Spinel Avenue, Fleurhof)
• Discoverers Community Healthcare Centre (35 Clarendon Drive, Discovery)
• Witpoortjie Community Hall (8 Harry Street, Princess)
• Zandspruit Shopping Centre (corner of Beyers Naudé Drive and Marina Street, Zandspruit)
Members of the community are encouraged to registered to receive their jabs before going to the vaccination site.
Here are four ways to register for your jab:
• Use any device with internet access and go to https://vaccine.enroll.health.gov.za
• Dial *134*832*IDNumber#. If you don’t have an ID number, dial *134*832#. This is free for all South African mobile networks
• Use WhatsApp and send the word REGISTER to 060 012 3456
• Call the toll free hotline on 080 002 9999. This is free for all South African mobile networks
You will need the following information when registering:
• Your identification number (passport, asylum seeker number, RSA ID, or refugee number)
• The location where you want to be vaccinated (home or work)
• If you are a member of a medical aid, you will need the name and number of your medical aid provider
