Community comes together in support of CPF patrollers
According to Head of Patrollers, Jon Rosenberg the patroller programme has grown immensely over the years, and there was a need for new uniforms.
Saturday, July 17 saw the Honeydew CPF patrollers benefit from being part of an engaging community when the Welview Residents Association (WRA) sponsored additional sets of uniforms for the team of patrollers.
According to Head of Patrollers, Jon Rosenberg the patroller programme has grown immensely over the years, and there was a need for new uniforms.
“WRA gladly assisted with uniforms. We must add that all these patrollers work voluntarily and don’t get reimbursed for anything,” said Jon.
The patrollers and security company personnel who were on duty on the day were also treated to loads of snacks and something to drink, courtesy of Ward 89 councillor, Amelia Bester and members of the Constantia Village Residents Association (CVRA).
“This was their way to say thanks to all the members who have been busy over the past week keeping the community safe,” said Jon.
