A resident in Glory Road was left reeling after an armed robbery on August 13.
According to the police report, the victim was woken up by the loud sound of a breaking window. “When she went to look in her living room she saw three men, one armed with a firearm,” spokesperson for the Muldersdrift Police, Sergeant Mulalo Ndou explained. The homeowner screamed and one of the intruders fired a shot in her direction.
Scared for her life, the resident retreated to her bedroom while the thugs ransacked her house and took a TV and a cellphone.
Ndou said the case is under investigation.
