Fleurhof vaccination site temporarily closed

Ward 70 councillor, Caleb Finn announced this morning (August 23) that the Health Department has temporarily closed the vaccination site at the Fleurhof Recreation Centre.

“Sadly there was a break-in in the early hours of Friday morning and several items were stolen. The Health Department has decided to close the site until it is better secured to avoid any further losses,” Caleb said.

“The decision is unfortunate but understandable. I am engaging with the Sports and Recreation Department to try and find solutions to the concerns they have raised.”

The closest government vaccination site in the area will now be the Discoverer’s Community Healthcare Centre.
