Close to 30 persons with disabilities attended the informative event at the Roodepoort Theatre. According to Seda Joburg Branch Cooperative Development Specialist, Dali Ramncwana the event forms part of their Seda (Small Enterprise Development Agency) Awareness Programme which encourages local communities to make use of the Seda products and services.

“This time around Seda is just focusing on the people living with disabilities, which is a sector that is usually forgotten. We do this in an attempt to lend a hand to the people living with disabilities,” he explained.

It is a joint venture between the Seda Cooperatives and Community Public Private Partnership Programme, CoGTA Community Development Workers Programme, and Social Development Persons with Disabilities Programme that joined hands to support and advise entrepreneurial PWDs in selected areas.
