Founder, Paul Catlett said they wanted to create a space where families can enjoy the outdoors and stillness of nature, without travelling too far or breaking the bank. “Part of our philosophy is simplicity so that people can get back to the core values of what’s good for the family – doing things together and going out for new experiences.”

The premises put the interactive in animal farm with a petting zoo right on the property for animal lovers. The little ones can enjoy petting or feeding the animals on the premises, which have all been rescued. “We’ve got quite a large variety of very tame and friendly animals, such as horses, pigs, ducks, geese, chinchillas and guinea pigs. People get to have the experience of petting them, feeding them and learning more about them with our facilitators,” he added.

The establishment also boasts a vegetable garden and fruit trees to keep their menu as organic as possible. There are secluded areas for picnics or just the regular getaway.
