Help make a paw-sitive change

Over the past few weeks Claw (Community-Led Animal Welfare) has become inundated with animals in need of food and shelter.

Our pets give us so much – love, loyalty, companionship and emotional support. It is impossible to think that some owners can just abandon theirs.

The sad reality is that this happens more often than we might think. Over the past few weeks Claw (Community-Led Animal Welfare) has become inundated with animals in need of food and shelter.

Since Claw is a welfare organisation that receives no government funding, they rely on support from the community to keep their doors open. They now appeal to the community to help keep the welfare’s furry friends alive and healthy.

They recently posted on Facebook that they were in need of towels, but they also need other items such as puppy food, cat food, tick and flea powder, bleach and anything else that might assist them in keeping the organisation afloat.

Since they also provide desperately needed veterinary services to dogs and cats, as well as vital animal care education to pet owners in the poorer areas, they created a fundraiser, which they hope would reach a larger audience.
