Driver allegedly flees accident scene after collision near Zandspruit
Three men injured in midnight head-on crash
Two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision near Zandspruit on February 13.
Around midnight, the two vehicle collided head-on along Marina Street, leaving three men injured. Paramedics arrived to find that one of the vehicles had three male occupants. One was seated inside the vehicle and the other two were walking around outside. The men were assessed on scene and were found to have sustained moderate injuries for which they were treated before being taken to a nearby hospital for further care.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported but oddly authorities found no occupants of the other vehicle involved in the incident. “The driver of one of the vehicles was not found on the scene. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” stated ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring.
