Ten years of existence celebrated with fun and creativity

On Friday, February 4 Creative Bugs Playgroup/ Day Care proudly celebrated its ten-year anniversary with a children’s carnival day filled with fun and laughter.
The birthday celebrations kicked off with a welcome by owner, Juanita van Niekerk who spoke about the history of Creative Bugs Playgroup/ Day Care.
“I have always had a passion for kids and love to see them develop in their own unique way.
“I saw the need for a Christian-based nursery school where our kids can play and learn, as well as be kids and where the parents are part of their kids’ lives on a daily basis.
“Today`s children are getting exposed to technology and don’t know how to play; we at Creative Bugs want to make sure that they can just be kids, just like we grew up.
“In the ten years we offered the parents a place where their kids can feel safe and be just kids,” Juanita.
Creative Bugs Playgroup/ Day Care has built a trusted reputation as a leading preschool provider.

Creative Bugs Playgroup /Day Care was established in 2013 from Juanita’s home in Little Falls with only three kids.
Juanita told the Northsider that there were a lot of obstacles and challenges, but with amazing parents, staff and the support from her husband, they have made it to ten years.
“Covid-19 was one of our biggest obstacles, but our parents supported us – if it were not for their trust and dedication we would not have been able to celebrate our tenth birthday this month.
“We educate our kids to learn through playing and to be creative. Our parents receive photos on a daily basis and we make sure that they are still part of their little ones’ development and daily activities.
“Creative Bugs Playgroup/ Day Care is going to celebrate its tenth birthday the whole of February.
“We want to say thank you to @Yellow Door Elzette Nell Professional hairdresser; Bakels; Dragonfly Parties; RE/MAX (David Grant); Curves Strubens Valley; Just Get Jumping Castles; Del Forno`s Little Falls; BCI Security; Mr Real Estate; Aladia`s Kitchen; and Laerskool Fairland who offered to open their hearts to sponsor surprises for our little ones during our celebration month,” said Juanita.
