WATCH: Taxi hit from behind next to Clearwater Mall

The road around Clearwater Mall on Christiaan de Wet Road has been closed after an accident occurred on April 14. According to video footage from BCI Security, a taxi was hit from behind shortly after a passenger got off.

It is still unknown how many people were injured; however, motorists are urged to use alternative routes and drive with caution along that road. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.

With the Easter weekend just a day away, motorists are advised to practice vigilance on the roads and to drive within the speed limit. Be careful and be safe.
