Sadly, the man who was flung from the vehicle showed no signs of life and was declared dead on scene.

“The man trapped inside the vehicle was in a serious condition. Rescue services had to use specialised equipment to free him. Once released, the man was treated and provided with advanced life support before being transported to a nearby hospital for urgent care,” confirmed ER24 Communications Officer, Russel Meiring.
