Motorists experienced delays at the corner of Ontdekkers Road and Golf Club Terrace in Florida Park on Friday, September 2 when two vehicles collided and left several people injured.
Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) spokesperson, Xolani Fihla confirmed that officers attended an accident involving a Mercedes-Benz single-deck bus and a white Chevrolet bakkie at the said intersection.
Six passengers from the bus sustained injuries and were taken to various hospitals by Emergency Services.
The male driver of the Chevrolet bakkie also sustained slight injuries and was taken to Life Flora Clinic.
The cause of the accident has not yet been determined and an accident report was compiled by officers for submission.
