Crawfordians show off during their Interhouse meeting

On Friday, September 9, Crawford International Ruimsig had a fantastic athletics day.

Crawfordians did more than just sprints on athletics day; they competed in a wide range of other sporting events, including javelin, shot putt, high jump, hurdles and long jump. Some of the students participated for the first time.

The Grade 7 students were also given the opportunity to participate in College Sport for the first time, and they were thrilled to be able to hang out with the older students.

Despite the extreme heat and the fact that there had been no athletics event since January, several students broke many school records that had been standing for a long time! There were even new records set that surpassed some of the records set in January

Crawford is ecstatic about the students’ achievements and can’t wait to see what they will accomplish at the upcoming Spirit Games.
