Traffic advisory: areas affected by flooding

According to local emergency and security services, the following areas have been affected by severe weather conditions as of 6:00 this morning, December 9.
Kilburn Road allegedly collapsed on both sides, near the Pick n Pay and the road has been closed off to traffic on both sides.
The community is cautioned to stay clear of the following streets: Westlake/ Hull, Goldman/ Sauer, and Louis Botha Road close to Golf Club Terrace and Albertina Sisulu Road near the dip at Florida Lake.
There is flooding on the N1 Southbound at Maraisburg Road. Two left lanes are affected.
Wilgerood Road is flooded, and drivers should seek alternative routes. Motorists are also advised to be careful when coming down Eagle Street, there are reports of a wall collapsed in the street.
