West Rand Sewing Market gets underway

The market is held on a monthly basis and features a wide variety of amazing products and awesome crafts.

The West Rand Sewing Market is held on the last Saturday of every month at 34 Ontdekkers Road (next to Sterling Nursery) and was created to assist those in the area and surrounds to display/ market and sell their products at an affordable price in a safe environment.

The stalls, market goers and the owners have become a lovely close-knit family as the market, its vibe and atmosphere are like no other.

The market is held on a monthly basis and features a wide variety of amazing products and awesome crafts.

Offering jewellery, bracelets, perfumes, beading, knitting, toys, peg bag, rag dolls, amigurumi (the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures), baby accessories and more.

At the entrance, community members had the opportunity to enjoy ice cream, coffee, hot dogs, pancakes and samosas.
