Valentine’s Picnic under the stars to be held at the Botanical Garden

Members of the community are encouraged to bring along their picnic baskets and enjoy live music and the exquisite outdoors.

South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is encouraging members of the community to come and enjoy a Valentine’s Picnic under the stars with them at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden (WSNBG) on Tuesday, February 14.

The event is held from 18:00 and attendees will be serenaded by soulful music from the greats such as Teddy Pendergrass, Barry White, The Bee Gees, Julio Iglesias, Celine Dion, and Marvin Gaye to name but a few.

According to SANBI’s Marketing and Communications personnel Ronny Tshabalala, the Valentine’s Picnic can also be a family outing.

Members of the community are encouraged to bring along their picnic baskets and enjoy live love music in the exquisite outdoors.

Costs for adults will be the normal entrance price of R70 and learners will be charged R20 while children under the age of 6 years will enter for free.
