Discovery Community Forum announces AGM
Join the Discovery Community Forum at their AGM.
The Discovery Community Forum (DCF) announced their Annual General Meeting is set to take place on August 6 at the Rainbow FM boardroom, Sauer Street, Florida, next door to the Florida Police Station.
According to DCF chairperson Justin Bezuidenhout, the AGM gives members the opportunity to have their say in their area, by either volunteering for a position on the committee or nominating members for positions within the committee.
“The DCF does a lot of good work in the community, working closely with police, local security companies, other residents’ forums, and charitable organisations, to name a few.
“We look forward to receiving nominations for new committee members who share our ideals of preserving and protecting our neighbourhoods, and supporting worthy causes.”
He adds that nominations for new committee members must be submitted via email to the secretary no later than August 3, at Sueblaircollection@vodacom.co.za.
Only fully paid-up members are permitted to vote.
