Roodepoort police search for killer after teen girl’s mutilated body found in veld
Gauteng police have launched an investigation after the body of a girl was discovered in a veld in Durban Deep.
The police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a 14-year-old girl was found in Durban Deep in Roodepoort on the afternoon of Sunday, June 1.
According to Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi a passerby found the mutilated body in an open veld and notified police.
The killer(s) remain unknown at this stage, and investigations are underway.
“Resources have been mobilised to ensure the culprits behind this heinous attack are caught and brought to justice.”
