Private security officers recover stolen items after foot chase in Muldersdrift

Guardmax tactical units have recovered stolen items following a property theft in Muldersdrift.
According to Guardmax sales manager Gerrie van Rooyen, the control room received a call regarding a theft at a local property at 14:35 on Wednesday, October 7.
Units dispatched to the scene spotted a man carrying the reported stolen items.
The man dropped the items when officers approached before fleeing into veld along Beyers Naudé Drive.
Officers pursued him on foot from multiple directions before apprehending him.
The recovered items and the apprehended man were handed over to Muldersdrift police for further investigation.
Van Rooyen praised the officers for their persistence, noting that the response demonstrated the company’s commitment to security incidents regardless of scale.
