Suspected gang leader killed in highway shooting
The motive remains unclear, but one man did not survive the hail of bullets.
Kenny Morgan, the alleged leader of the Fast Guns gang, was gunned down in a suspected targeted hit on the evening of July 9, on the 14th Avenue off-ramp from the N1 South.

According to police spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, the 56-year-old was fatally shot after an unknown BMW 1 Series with two occupants approached his vehicle and opened fire. The suspects fled the scene, and Morgan was declared dead when the authorities arrived.

Morgan was reportedly travelling with another man when their vehicle came under heavy gunfire. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation, and it remains unclear whether the second occupant was injured.

A case of murder has been opened by the Fairland police. No arrests have been made, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
