Five people were turned away this morning at the Hoërskool Roodepoort voting station in Ward 84.

According to voting officials on site, the five were not registered to vote at this particular station.

By 11:17, the station had recorded about 644 voters, and the line had decreased swiftly.

Residents in the area are encouraged to cast their ballots.
