Panorama team cleans their neighborhood

Tackling overgrown areas brings new life to community spaces and enhances neighborhoods.

On Saturday, January 25, the Panorama@work team wrapped up a successful day of cleaning up and beautifying their neighbourhood. The team, part of the Panorama Residents Association, worked tirelessly to tackle several problem areas with the aim to leave a noticeable improvement in the community.

The clean–up started a the corner of Theunis and Albert Streets, where members cut grass and cleared weeds, making their way toward the Panorama Substation. “From there, part of the team split off to address three overgrown sites. These included the area around the burned house on Rooisering Street, the corner of JG Strydom and Springhaas, and a small servitude area in Windsurf,” elaborated the Panorama Residents Association’s deputy chair, Michael Steyn.

Michael added that by the end of the day , the team had already transformed these spaces, showcasing the remarkable results that can be achieved when residents come together for a common goal.
