Roodepoort police confirm 300 fire arm licenses available for collection

Roodepoort Police have urged residents to collect their firearm licences from the Firearm Registration Centre at Roodepoort Police Station.

The station confirmed that there are about 300 firearm licenses available for collection of which 40% is from the firearm amnesty programme and 60% from long outstanding renewal.

To collect the firearm licences, the owner may simply bring their identification document to the station to be verified.

It can be collected during the day (Monday to Friday) at the Roodepoort Police Station, 4 Raath Street, Horison.
