Baking biscuits for her best friend
"The wonderful thing about these cookies is that they can also be a yummy snack for your dogs or other pets."
Jennifer Labuschagne, 28, started baking molasses cookies about four months ago, after a woman put her cookie recipes up for sale.

“You could say Diski Dance – my horse, and I were brand ambassadors for her wares, and after she closed up shop I jumped at the chance to buy her recipes,” Jennifer elaborated.
She’s had Diski Dance for more than eight years and proclaimed that he’s a very fussy eater when it comes to treats.

“So he was my guinea pig, I knew if he enjoyed the cookies then they will be a hit among the horses.”
Along with the cookies, Jennifer also bought a sugar cube recipe from the previous owner and sells them as well. When she’s not busy baking cookies you can find Jennifer at Riverleigh International Equestrian Centre, where she works as a stall manager.

“The wonderful thing about these cookies is that they can also be a yummy snack for your dogs or other pets,” she added.
The cookies come in a variety of shapes and sizes ranging from letters of the alphabet to hotdogs, bear faces and anything you can imagine.
“I try and make the cookies as cute and interesting as possible, which is more for the owner than the horse.”
These are wonderful snacks to give your pet, and they won’t cost you an arm and a leg. To find out more about her cookies, visit Jennifer’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100087767825915&mibextid=ZbWKwL/
