Albertina Sisulu Road closed
Motorists had to find a detour as Albertina Sisulu Road was closed due to protest action.
Albertina Sisulu Road was closed off yesterday, May 24, due to alleged protest action by residents of Princess.
According to Sibusiso Xulu, General Manager for Roodepoort Service Delivery Centre (SDC) residents are unhappy regarding maintenance and capital expenditure.
“Operators are on site repairing the burnt jumper. Three transformers that have low voltage faults are also being repaired. We apologise for the delay to customers and are working swiftly to restore the bulk of the electricity problems that residents are experiencing,” stated Xulu.
Xulu added, “The Princess project is still ongoing and has not officially been handed over to Johannesburg City Power.”
