Lil’ Choices spoil their elderly friends with another successful seniors day

Anti-abortion NPO packs a school hall to remind elderly community members of their valuable place in society.

The desire to be appreciated has no age limit.

Lil’ Choices again had the hall of Arthur Matthews Primary School full to the brim with smiling pensioners on September 17. The pro-life non-profit organisation held its annual seniors day to remind its followers that they care for human beings regardless of age. Over 300 elderly people from across Johannesburg were treated to a home-cooked chicken and rice dish, plus dessert while enjoying the company of old and new friends.

Seniors Day is one of Lil’ Choices flagship events that pays respect to those who have come before while acknowledging the potential of all life. Lil’ Choices provides option counselling for young mothers to create a viable alternative to abortion. Lil’ Choices provides shelter and care for women wanting to take control of their decisions, guiding them with compassion and discretion.

Lil’ Choices founder Rae Bagus and volunteers cook up a storm.

The Lil’ Choices volunteers waited on the elderly attendees, ensuring they left feeling pampered. Reflecting on another successful event, Lil’ Choices matriarch Rae Bagus said, “As always we have had a great response. The numbers keep getting bigger and bigger and we are delighted to be able to make our guests feel special. The elderly have a special place in our hearts and we want them to know they will never be forgotten.”
