Several injured in Johan Road crash
The extent of the occupants' injuries was not disclosed at this stage.
Emergency teams responded swiftly to a serious car crash on May 25, after a vehicle veered off Johan Road and slammed into a tree.
According to Emergency Control South Africa (ECSA), the accident occurred in the early hours of the morning. On arrival, responders found the vehicle off the roadway, with visible damage from the impact.

Paramedics from ECSA, ER24 EMS, Help24, and other services assessed and stabilised the injured occupants on the scene before transporting them to the nearest hospital for further care. The exact number of injured passengers has not been confirmed.
GP Tactical, EC Security, and First Help Towing also assisted at the scene, helping to secure the area and clear the wreckage.

ECSA spokesperson Pieter Boshoff thanked all role-players involved for their quick and co-ordinated efforts.
