CPF hosts successful awareness campaign

With this effort, the team hopes to create a safer and more informed community through partnerships and presence.

The Honeydew CPF Sectors 1 and 2, along with Honeydew police and security companies, held an awareness campaign on July 15 at the Beyers Naudé and John Vorster Drive intersection.

According to the Honeydew CPF public relations officer, Michael Steyn, during the campaign, the team distributed over 2 000 informative pamphlets to motorists and commuters, providing practical tips on personal safety, vehicle security, and reporting suspicious activity.

The initiative aimed to strengthen the knowledge the public already has about crime prevention and build working relationships between law enforcement and the community.

“This is yet another great initiative by the Honeydew CPF to keep our community informed and safe,” Steyn said.

The event was positively received by passers-by, who appreciated the CPF’s ongoing visibility and commitment to community safety. The CPF expressed their thanks to participating security companies that contributed to the success of the event by providing the resources and manpower.
