Sterlig Nursery hosts successful market

Classic cars steal the show at Sterlig Nursery Market.

Sterling Nursery hosted a spectacular market that drew in a diverse crowd of marketgoers and classic car enthusiasts.

The event, held on July 26, featured a wide array of stalls selling everything from delicious food and refreshing drinks to home essentials and beautifully hand-crafted items. Residents browsed the stalls with enthusiasm, eager to buy almost everything on offer. However, the real showstoppers of the market were the stunning classic cars displayed by Great Motors. Community members gathered around these iconic vehicles, admiring their timeless beauty and craftsmanship.

According to Cherise Dreyer, the manager of the nursery, the market has become a long-standing tradition. “We’ve been part of this community since 1965,” she said. “We started the market because we had a lot of customers who lost their jobs during Covid-19, and they were asking if they could come sell stuff here. We host it every second and third month, and this was our first night market,” Cherise added.
